You can’t physically touch it, but you can sense, feel and visualise it. It has a lot of hills and valleys and curves and it is incredibly smart. It looks like a walnut, but it’s not. What is it?
Everybody has it, but nobody can fully explain it. Indeed, everybody’s brain is different. Not all secrets are revealed about brain yet, but some latest discoveries are worth mentioning.
The brain can be trained even in the adulthood. It is an amazing message to all language learners and educators. New synapses and pathways can be build, if the adequate learning style and approach is used and the right motivation found.
Neurolanguage coaching distinguishes between thinking and performing brain. According to Paling R. the latter one is reponsible for fluency: "The more we start to forget that we are speaking a new language and the more we go into the performing brain and further away from the thinking brain."* Only when performing brain takes over, it is a sign of an excellent command of a language.
Every brain learns another way, but preferably - in a brain-friendly way - without stress, in a positive atmosphere, chunking down the learning material and taking breaks with some moves.
Beautiful brain is a calm and happy brain.
