Walk - Speak - Stretch

*Boost your English speaking confidence in real travelling situations by visiting the capital of Latvia – Riga.

*Practise speaking English to locals or tourists in the airport, hotel, cafes, restaurants, sightseeing places, museums, beaches and shops. This is a special edition of „Speak&Stretch“. You will get a real boost of speaking English and at least 2 h Yoga / meditation every day.

*You should have at least A2 level in English and a beginners’s knowledge of Yoga. Participation in Yoga is not obligatory. However, it could help you to improve your English.

Programme

Thursday, July 9th

Meeting in Forums Boutique Hotel Riga at 2 p.m. Welcoming coffee and ice breaking.

Yoga & Meditation. First impression of Riga – Walk and Talk. Dinner at the Latvian cuisine restaurant „Lido“. Free time

Friday, July 10th

Morning Yoga. Breakfast. Old Town Walk and Talk – guided excursion in English. Boat trip through the canal of Riga or National Library. Yoga & Meditation. Dinner. Free time

Saturday, July 11th

Morning Yoga. Breakfast. Day trip to Jurmala beach by train. Walk & Talk in Jurmala. Yoga & swimming in the Baltic Sea. Dinner. Free time

Sunday, July 12th

Morning Yoga. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel until 12:00 a.m.

Discover the other side of the river – Kipsala, Victory park in Pardaugava. Riga Panorama wheel - city from above. Lunch in Agenskalna Market place. Saying farewell.

Yoga and meditation will be offered in different places in Riga centre and its surroundings – indoor and outdoor

 Participation fee: 650 Euro per person/ special Early Bird Price by booking until the end of January - 590 Euro per Person including accommodation, breakfast in the hotel, Yoga & Meditation, English lessons, Walk&Talk, 2 guided excursions – professional guide

Additional costs: Transport to Riga, meals, entry in the museums, – about 10 Euro per person, public transport tickets – from 1,50 Euro per ride, boat trip – about 20 Euro, your own travel insurance

How to get to Riga

1)        By air direct flights to Riga from Hamburg (about 2 h) or any other airpot in Germany. You can choose AirBaltic company for the best prices and offers to Riga: www.airbaltic.com

2)        By ferry direct trip from Travemünde to Liepaja (LV) (22 h) and then by bus or train to Riga (4 h) www.stenaline.de or from Kiel to Klaipeda (LT) and then by bus to Riga. www.dfds.com

3)        By Flixbus or any other bus to Riga – about 24 h

4)        By car through Poland and Lithuania to Riga – about 20 h non stop driving
